"If you're worried about that, why not go see for yourself?" Brenna moved down the buffet line at a slow pace, picking out food, lost in thought. She said, "I'm not doing that. Why would I bother going just to make myself feel worse?" After making her final choices, Brenna headed back to the table. Ellie soon joined her.
