Chapter 1419 Jeffrey pushed aside Juan, eager to get to the wall.
It suddenly shook, and a section of it sank back. Inside was an old, rusted elevator.
His eyes lit up. He turned to Juan and exclaimed, "It's a secret passage." Without hesitation, he stepped inside.

Jeffrey wasn't afraid of the unknown. He rambled on, "I've been searching for so long. My efforts have finally paid off. Once we get the treasure, I'll be able to bring your mother back. Our family will never be torn apart again." Juan was unimpressed, only regarding it as a fool's talk.
The elevator descended about ten meters before coming to a heavy stop.
Juan felt a cold draft, and when the iron doors opened, a blinding golden light flashed. He instinctively raised his hand to shield his eyes.
The elevator opened into a massive underground chamber about five meters high. Inside, gold and silver were stacked everywhere.
Gold bars seemed worthless here. Pearls emitted faint glows.
Juan had seen his fair share of wealth, but such a sight was mindboggling.
He thought to himself, 'No wonder the Potters used so many people and resources to hide these treasures. Such an enormous fortune could make anyone fose themselves.' Jeffrey walked forward without giving the gold and silver a second glance. Instead, his eyes locked on something ahead. Contengs "It's here," he muttered.
Dazed, he seemed to see Claudia smiling at him ahead.
"Claudia, I'm here for you," he murmured, already reaching them deepest part of the cave.
He closed his eyes and grasped a blue pendant, waiting for his reunion whion with Claudia. He hoped that when he opened his e eyes, she'd be right there beside him, and everything would be as it had been.
But after a long while, the coldness in the air still hadn't faded, Jeffreym opened his eyes, but nothing had changed. "Why is this happening?" he muttered in disbelief.
Juan observed the surroundings, seeing and hearing nothing.
