Chapter 454

"Such a disgrace!" Rebecca thought, her eyes narrowing as she watched Talbot's reaction. When he noticed

Anthea entering the room, he immediately stood and walked over to her.

There was no doubt in Rebecca's mind that Talbot was about to escort Anthea out. After all, who was Anthea

compared to her? Could Anthea possibly bring as much value to AY Corporation as she could?

Rebecca fiddled with her earring, a smug smile playing on her lips. If Anthea realized Talbot was about to send

her packing, she'd likely be unable to handle it and might even resort to pathetic antics, making a fool of herself.

Rebecca leaned back, looking out the window, imagining the embarrassment that would surely follow for Anthea.

Her satisfaction grew with the thought. Finally, after all these days, she'd see Anthea humiliated.

But then, to Rebecca's astonishment, Talbot didn't send Anthea away. Instead, he whispered something in her

ear, and the two of them walked inside together, with Talbot looking rather deferential.

What on earth was going on? Rebecca frowned. Could it be that without President Yeager's approval, even Talbot

dared not act against Anthea?

As they entered the room, Rebecca's face hardened. "Mr. Talbot, haven't | told you? If you wantto continue

our collaboration, then this second-rate intepersonality needs to disappear from my sight immediately!"

Talbot smiled, "Ms. Morris, you've misunderstood. This is President Yeager, the founder of AY."

Boom! It was as if a bomb had exploded in Rebecca's mind. Her face turned pale. President Yeager? Had Talbot

just referred to Anthea as President Yeager?

Anthea was the founder of AY Corporation? How could this be possible?

No way! This couldn't be true! Rebecca, with her rebirth and a system at her disposal, hadn't managed to start

her own company. Anthea was just a nobody! How could she have done it?

Rebecca looked up at Talbot, trying to maintain her composure. "Mr. Talbot, surely you must be joking! This

woman, how could she possibly be your founder?"

Talbot frowned, his expression serious. "Ms. Morris, | assure you, there's no joke here. President Yeager is indeed

our founder."

Rebecca's face drained of color. How could this be happening? In her wildest dreams, she never imagined that

Anthea was the person she had been so eager to impress.

Anthea, maintaining her calm demeanor, looked at Talbot. "And this is Ms. Morris?"

"Indeed," Talbot replied, handing her a document. "President Yeager, this is Ms. Morris's proposal for your

review."

Anthea casually flipped through a couple of pages, her voice calm yet authoritative. "It's all over the place,

unrealistic. How can this be considered an outstanding proposal?"

Though her tone was mild, it carried weight, causing Talbot to break out in a cold sweat. While others might

deem the proposal excellent, to Anthea, it was nothing more than useless paper. After all, the system Rebecca

relied on was Anthea's own creation, and the proposals it generated were just leftovers from Anthea's past work.

Rebecca stood frozen, her face alternating between shades of red and white, fists clenched tight. She felt like a

clown. She had prepared so thoroughly, aiming to win the favor of AY's founder. Yet, the founder turned out to be

Anthea, and instead of gaining anything, she had been thoroughly humiliated.

Anthea placed the proposal back on the table. "I don't have tto waste on meaningless papers, and AY will

never collaborate with the Morris Group. Talbot, see her out."

Talbot complied immediately, "Ms. Morris, this way, please."

Rebecca glanced up at Anthea, her expression dark. Anthea! You little... Just you wait. One day, she would make

Anthea pay.

Fuming with embarrassment, Rebecca stormed out.

"Ms. Morris, hold on!"

Talbot suddenly called after her. What could he want now? Could it be that Anthea wasn't really President Yeager

and the real President had arrived?
