Chapter 380
The three men who stood guard noticedand started yelling at me.
"Brat, what do you think you're doing?"
"This room is occupied. Go somewhere else!"
"Move it! Don't get in the way!"
They didn't just try to driveaway with words. They started shovingas well.
| tried to dodge a little, not wanting them to make contact, but | couldn't avoid all three pairs of hands. One of
them ended up grabbing my arm.
Furious, | grabbed his forearm, crouched, and flipped him over my shoulder.

With a loud thud, he slammed hard onto the ground and was momentarily unable to make a sound. He clutched
himself in pain, curled up, and trembled uncontrollably.
The others were left stunned. They clearly didn't expect someone who appeared to be just a student to strike
back with such brutal intensity.
"You're asking for it!" one of them roared.
Their expressions turned savage. Without wasting time, they rushed toward me. Outnumbered, I instinctively
took a step back, but | wasn't afraid because | had Quintus.
Just as expected, before they could reach me, a sudden force from the side slammed into two of them and sent
the other three stumbling into the wall. They were left dazed and barely able to recover.
Giving Quintus a quick look, | signaled him to handle those men before turning away to unlock the door.
| had already prepared spare keys for every door when | took over the building. | prepared the key in advance
after hearing from Jane about which unit was having trouble.
| immediately unlocked the door and strode in. To my surprise, there were people inside.
Two thugs were lounging on the couch, drinking and having a good time, completely oblivious to what was
happening outside the door.
A beautiful young lady with a ponytail sat on the couch. Tears of resentment streamed down her face. She had
bandages around her head, ropes binding her, and a rag gagging her mouth.
The two thugs were taken aback upon seeing me, and their astonishment only grew when they spotted the key
in my hand. "What are you up to? Who permitted you to chere?"
They likely never imagined | had entered on my own and were probably assuming
| con Marcus' or someone else's orders.
I smoothly walked past them and said, "Marcus sentto ask this young lady a few questions."
"Marcus sent you?" They looked doubtfully at each other. "Why did Marcus send you?"
"How would | know? | guess Marcus wants to train me." | pretended to be casual as walked up to the couch and
removed the cloth from the young lady's mouth. | then pinched her chin and examined the wound on her head.
Thankfully, it didn't seem too serious and was just a minor scratch. Just then, as | was closely inspecting, the
young lady suddenly spat atin anger.
| was momentarily stunned, my anger rising. It was mostly disgust, but | managed to keep it in.
Ignorance was no crime. She probably sawas one of the bad guys, which was why she acted that way.
| took a deep breath, wiped my face with a tissue, and remarked, "Can you at least ask before you spit? I'm here
to save you."
"Save me? You're no different from them. You'll save me? Don't givethat nonsense! Listen. Unless you kill
me, I'll definitely call the police!"
