Aunt Amanda's displeasure showed. "Sasa, Melvin is my son. He'll listen to me. | discussed Sydney's internship

Before she could react, Sydney had already directed the bodyguards to move her luggage to an empty room
upstairs.

"Melvin, which department are you puttingin?" She placed meat in Melvin's bowl.
Mia frowned. "Can you stop with the 'Melvin' every second? Can we eat in peace? Didn't your family teach you
not to talk during meals? So uncouth."
"Who are you calling uncouth?" Sydney leaned closer to Melvin, playing hurt.
Mia pointed at her. "You. I'm pointing right at you. Clear enough?"
Sydney turned tearful eyes to Melvin. She couldn't risk offending a Reynolds, but surely he'd defend her.
She tugged his sleeve, hoping for support.
But Melvin's first words were, "Mia, are you comfortable here?"
The snub hit like lightning. Of course she was comfortable. "I'm fine."
"Good. If you need anything, tellor Sarah."
Sydney shot jealous looks between Sarah and Melvin.
