Chapter 270

In a lowered voice, Sharon added, "She's indeed not someone to be trifled with. Maybe we should go somewhere

else to eat."

Even though Sharon felt aggrieved to leave the restaurant at another person's unreasonable demand, she was

aware of Yasmine's status. Hence, she thought that if they could avoid offending such a person, they should

actively prevent doing so.

"This is our table. Why should we leave or give it up?" Yolanda sipped her lemonade and ignored Karen

completely.

"Didn't you hear what | just said?" Karen scoffed upon hearing what Yolanda said. "This is Ms. Judd's table. Get

lost!"

This wasn't the first tKaren had encountered such a situation. However, no one was bold enough to offend

Yasmine. Usually, they would let up the table politely. On the contrary, Yolanda and Sharon refused to do so and

didn't seem to take the situation seriously. This enraged Karen to no end.

Yasmine had a foul temper. If she found that her table was still occupied when she arrived, she would likely take

it out on Karen and deduct her salary.

Karen thought about that and decided to take even more drastic measures. "Do you still refuse to leave? Get the

security to throw them out of the restaurant!"

"Hey, isn't this Yolanda?"

Tina and Sofie walked over leisurely.

Karen glanced at them and asked in a softened tone, "Do you know her?"

"Of course!" Sofie answered Karen's question, staring at Yolanda resentfully. She added, "She likes to throw her

weight around because she's kind of rich. | feel like throwing up whenever | see her."

Yolanda caused Sofie to lose her job back at the fashion outlet, so she made Yolanda her number-one enemy

since then.

"Oh. A nouveau riche, huh?" Karen gave Yolanda a meaningful look, finally understanding why Yolanda could

behave so arrogantly.

It turned out that Yolanda had no idea how influential Yasmine was around here. Karen thought it was

presumptuous of Yolanda to think that she could cto a high-end restaurant and pretend to be a young lady

from a sophisticated family just because she happened to be somewhat wealthy.

To think that Yolanda dared to refuse to give Yasmine her seat when she didn't even cfrom a truly prominent

family-Karen found Yolanda's actions laughable.

"She's too arrogant, Ms. Fulmouth. How dare she occupy the table specially reserved for Ms. judd! You must

teach her a lesson for such insolence!" Sofie suggested.

After Sofie lost her job, her family members helped her contact Yasmine through their connections. With some

difficulty, she finally convinced Yasmine to meet with her. So, she brought Tina along to accompany her as she

met up with Yasmine, whom Sofie hoped would give her a proper job.

Sofie didn't expect to run into her enemy, Yolanda, at the restaurant. She took in Karen's incensed expression

and cup with an evil idea. This was a good chance for her to get rid of Yolanda, the eyesore, by invoking

Yasmine's wrath. If Yolanda offended Yasmine, she would no longer have a place in Riverdale.

With that, Sofie made up her mind and said to Karen, "After a busy day at work, Yarmine would be upset if she

saw that someone was in her seat when she arrived."

"Like I need you to remindabout that!" Karen fumed.

Seconds and minutes ticked by, yet Yolanda and Sharon were still unwilling to leave.

Karen was starting to feel anxious. "Why isn't the security here yet?"

"Who's kicking up a fuss here?" Several uniformed security guards rushed over.

When they neared Yolanda and the others, they saw Karen and greeted her respectfully.

"Good day, Ms. Fulmouth!"

"Hello, Ms. Fulmouth!"

Yasmine was a frequent customer in this restaurant, so the staff working there recognized Karen.

"These two refuse to move away from Ms. Judd's regular seat. Take care of them!" Karen looked at Yolanda and

Sharon like she was looking at garbage. The glare she shot them was full of disdain.

She urged, "Hurry up! If Ms. Judd arrives and sees that there are people in her seat, all of you will get into trouble

as well."

"Understood!" the security guards replied.

They took Karen's words very seriously and reached out to grab Yolanda and Sharon.

"Get lost immediately!"

"That's right. Scram!"

Sofie and Tina looked on smugly. They waited to see how Yolanda and Sharon would run out of the restaurant

miserably upon being chased out by the guards.

But in the next second, the burly guard who had touched the tip of Yolanda's sleeve was sent flying backward.

He crashed into a table behind him with a loud crash.

Places and cutlery fell to the floor, broken and shattered. The guard who had been kicked clutched his chest

painfully and couldn't get up even after quite sthad passed.

Yolanda's sudden attack stunned the other security guards. Karen, Sofie, and Tina were also dumbfounded. This

was especially true for Sofie, who had been waiting eagerly to see how Yolanda would be humiliated.

Sofie, who had been looking forward to seeing Yolanda humiliated, seemed taken aback. She was so surprised

that her jaw dropped. It looked big enough to house an egg. "How is that possible?"

How could Yolanda have defeated a burly security guard with one punch?

The security guards who worked at this high-end restaurant were all retired army men. Needless to say, they

were all tough and fierce. Once, Sofie happened to have stood a little too long at the entrance. The guard who

cout to chase her away by swinging his fists around scared her out of her wits.

In the present time, Sofie was dazed to see the security guard groaning in pain, struggling to get to his feet after

being knocked to the ground.

Karen was furious as she commanded, "Go, all of you! Get her!"

She didn't expect that Yolanda was capable of fighting. Despite her surprise, she still didn't take Yolanda

seriously. She assumed that Yolanda must have ambushed the guard when he wasn't paying attention. There

was no way those trained guards would be helpless against a teenage girl like Yolanda.

The security guards glanced at each other quickly upon hearing Karen's words. They surrounded Yolanda from

three sides, leaving her nowhere to retreat. Then, they all charged at her at the stime.

However, they were all worse off than the first guard who touched the edge of Yolanda's sleeve. In less than a

minute, Yolanda beat them all up, and they writhed on the ground in pain.

Karen, Sofie, and Tine were utterly shocked. They hadn't expected Yolanda to be proficient in combat and to be

able to take on four or five guards at the stwithout problem.

"Hmph! That's what you get for looking down on others!" Sharon said smugly as she looked at the security

guards, who were groaning in pain.

She added, "What made you think you could show preferential treatment toward different customers?"

With that, Sharon kicked the security guard who had fallen right beside her. She then walked over to Yolanda and

gently tugged on her sleeve while muttering, "Yolanda, we should leave. If Yasmine comes over, we may be in

trouble."

Though Yolanda had a right to defend herself in such a situation, Sharon was worried that she would get the

short end of the stick because Yasmine was from the powerful and influential Judd family.

Just then, a group of people entered the restaurant. The leader was a beautifully dressed woman who headed

straight in Yolanda's direction. About eight bodyguards in black suits wearing sunglasses trailed after her, adding

to the imposing air she gave off.

"Oh no! She's here..." Sharon frowned nervously when she realized that the woman was Yasmine.

Yolanda scrutinized Yasmine for a brief moment before realizing why she was so jealous of Cianna. In terms of

appearance and overall bearing, Cianna was far superior to Yasmine.

Yasmine liked to keep a high profile and didn't like being ignored or neglected. But she was bound to be

overlooked whenever she stood next to Cianna. It was no wonder she hated Cianna with a passion.

"Ms. Judd!"

"Good day, Ms. Judd!"

The restaurant staff greeted and waved Yasmine respectfully the moment they saw her. They were all treading

on eggshells, afraid they would unknowingly offend the foul-tempered Yasmine somehow.

"What in the blazes happened here and led to this mess? Didn't you tell them that

| would dine in here?" Yasmine questioned Karen impatiently. She frowned in disgust as she looked at the guards

sprawled on the ground.

The moment Yasmine stepped into the restaurant, Karen thought she finally had someone to back her up.

She went over to Yasmine immediately and politely said, "I already told them to leave, but they were adamant

about holding on to your designated table. Even when they heard that you were coming, they still wouldn't

budge!"

Sofie seized the chance to talk bad about Yolanda. "Hello, Ms. Judd. I'm Sofie Mayer. Mr. Mark Waylon

recommendedto you and arranged for our meeting. | know those two-the ugly one is Yolanda Henderson.

"She does as she pleases and keeps a haughty demeanor daily. She's extremely arrogant and doesn't have the

faintest respect for anyone else.

"They knew you were coming but refused to move away no matter what. They

even said they'd beat up whoever dared to chase them out. She was the one who

beat up all those security guards!"

After hearing what Karen and Sophie had to say, a cold look appeared in

Yasmine's eyes.
