| wasn’t alone; ‘Thane and Axel were both present | had been cuffed to the bed post. A rush of excitement filled
and Thane took his position, watching. | stared at him, even as | felt the cold silver ball against my already wet
entry. | moaned out Thane’s nas Axel touched me. He went in and out with the balls, and just when |
thought | couldn’t take more, he pulled the balls out, going down onand devouring me. | moaned again as
his finger dove intonext, pumping in and out. | could feel my muscles grow tight as | reached my climate,
and | shattered into a million pieces, crying out his name.
I awoke with a start.
| could feel the moisture between my leg and | wasn’t alone now either. Axel paused at the door, his amused
gaze on me. | knew he could smell my arousal even from there, | turned red.
I've heard similar dreams before, but never had it emotionally stirredto this point. | was practically panting.
What the hell was going on with me?
“Am | intruding?” Axel questioned.
“No, | wasn’t doing anything,” | defended; he must have thought | was pleasuring myself.

“Oh, okay,” he agreed with a shrug, but the smirk remained on his face.
“Axel, it was a dream.”
“A quite enjoyable dream you were having there.
“You heard...didn’t you?”

| chucked a pillow at him, and he caught it, laughing.

“There is a letter for you,” Axel says, passing the envelope to me.
“Who is it from?”
“Your mother,” he answered.
“It's opened,” | say, pulling out the paper.
“We had to make sure it's source, but it hadn't been read,” Axel assured me, and | nodded.
The letter read;
‘Riley. | don’t know if this note would get to you, but if it does, | want you to know that you won't be held captive
for long; we are working on ways to get you out of there.
Nick has really been helpful; he is worried about you. He says you haven't been hurt yet, but | won't let that
monster hurt you ever again. Hang in there. | love you."
I reread the letter.
gods, | miss her so much.
She said they were working on ways to getout of here, if only she knew. | felt instantly guilty. They still
thought | was in danger, and they were putting effort into making sure | get out of here. Thane had giventhe
chance to leave this place, all | had to do was confess | no longer has feelings for him and | couldn't.
| was in no harm, and they needed to know that.
| wonder how disappointed my mother would be when she hears the truth that I still do have feelings for this
‘monster’. She would hate me, and this tshe would never forgive me.
“Are you okay?” Axel asked, his tone worried.
“Yes. Yes, | am".
My back hurt, and | wonder if it was my wings. | hadn't let it out in days, but then Nick hardly let his out so it
can't be that.
