Chapter 1773
The woman leaned closer to Karina, lowering her voice. "You ruined my fun. The manager and | were having a
great time, and you interrupted us. You need to make it up to me."
Karina's frustration flared. "I didn't mean to interrupt. The door wasn't fully closed, and | was only there to talk
about resigning."
But the woman wasn't about to let it go.
"I don't care. You need to make it up to me. Otherwise, | can't guarantee your night will go smoothly or that you'll
get to leave this job without issues."
Anger surged through Karina. "You're being unreasonable! | didn't do anything wrong!"
The woman sneered. "In this bar, what | say goes. If you don't cooperate, | have plenty of ways to make sure you
can't stay."
Karina knew arguing with her in this chaotic environment would only make things worse. But the idea of being
bullied like this made her seethe. Taking a deep breath, she tried to stay calm. "What do you wantto do?"
The woman's eyes gleamed with triumph. "It's simple. Hand over all the commission from your drink sales

Karina's eyes widened. "That's not happening! | worked hard for that money. Why should | give it to you?"
The woman crossed her arms. "Then don't blme for what happens next."
As the two stood at an impasse, a senior employee of the bar passed by and paused, sighing softly. She looked
at Karina and said, "Girl, don't argue with her. She's got connections here. Crossing her won't do you any good."
Karina felt a mix of anger and helplessness. She bit her lip, struggling to think of a way out.
The woman smirked, her tone shifting. "Fine, if you don't want to hand over the money, then doa favor
instead.
"A client in one of the private rooms requestedto deliver their drinks, but | have to stay with the manager
tonight. You go in my place."
Karina hesitated, her instincts

warning her against the suggestion. She knew this bar had its share of shady dealings and didn't want to get
tangled up in anything questionable. Still, it seemed like a way to get the woman off her back for now.
"Just deliver drinks? Nothing else, right?" Karina asked cautiously.
The woman rolled her eyes, growing impatient. "Just take the drinks in. Stop asking so many questions."
Despite her lingering doubts, Karina nodded reluctantly. "Fine. I'll do it."
She thought to herself, "As long as | can get through tonight and resign without further trouble, | can endure
this."
Satisfied, the woman stepped aside, allowing Karina to push the cart toward the assigned room. Watching her
go, the woman strutted back to the manager's office, her hips swaying with exaggerated confidence. The
manager glanced up. "All set?"
The woman giggled. "Piece of cake. That girl doesn't dare defy me. But why did you suddenly send her to that
room?"
The manager's lips curled into a cold
smile. "The guests in that room requested someone pure. Look at Karina always working quietly, acting all
innocent. She's probably a virgin. If we send her in and the
clients are happy, we'll benefit big
time."
The woman frowned slightly, a hint of concern creeping into her expression. "But what if she resists and causes a
scene? That could lead to trouble."
The manager waved dismissively.
"What's there to worry about? In this
bar, everything goes our way. If something happens, we'll just say she agreed to it. Who's going to believe a
lowly waitress over us?"

Meanwhile, Karina arrived at the door of the private room. Taking a deep breath, she forced a smile and gently
pushed the door open.
The room was filled with the heavy scent of smoke and alcohol. Several well-dressed men lounged on the sofas,
laughing loudly as they chatted.
