Chapter 1673:
“Don’t tellyou forgot?” Natasha gave her a pointed look.
As much as Corrine didn’t want to admit it, she had. The only thing on her mind that day had been Jules and
Rachel's wedding. She'd spent the whole morning helping Chelsea with preparations, leaving her drained.
Claude’s unexpected appearance at the ceremony had completely thrown her off balance, flooding her emotions
and leaving little room for anything else.
As Corrine sat there with the bouquet of roses in her hands, a wave of guilt washed over her. She was upset with
herself for forgetting and even more guilty knowing that Nate hadn't. He'd remembered. He'd sent roses for her.
Without hesitation, Corrine gathered her things and clutched the bouquet tightly as she stood up. “You'll have to
host the meeting later,” she said to Natasha in haste.
“Got it,” Natasha nodded.
She watched Corrine hurry out the door, a smile tugging at her lips. It looked like Corrine was going to make
amends. The only question was—would they be accepted?
Corrine drove quickly toward Brighton Group. Unlike Valentine's Day, Kissing Day wasn’t widely celebrated. The
streets were quiet, with only a few flower shops displaying subtle promotional signs.

of the little tshe had left. She searched for ideas online, booked a dinner reservation, and secured two movie
tickets.
With plans in place, she stepped on the accelerator and soon pulled up to Brighton Group.
Saul was caught off guard when he saw her. He blinked, wondering what kind of magic Matias had used to get
Corrine here of her own accord.

“Miss Holland,” he greeted respectfully.
Corrine nodded, her eyes drifting past him to the closed office door. “Is your boss inside?” she asked.
“He’s in a meeting,” Saul responded. “I can notify him if you'd like.” Truthfully, he wasn’t sure what had caused
Nate's foul mood, but the atmosphere in the building had dropped like a storm cloud. It felt as though the Grim
Reaper himself had taken over the boardroom. The emergency meeting had blindsided the company’s
executives, and judging by the tone inside, they were getting torn apart.
Corrine pursed her lips, hesitant. “No need. I'll wait in the office for a bit,” she said.
“Alright,” Saul nodded.
Just as she walked past, he hesitated and then added, “Miss Holland, | don’t know about the disagreement you
two had... but I think relationships are all about give and take. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to meet him halfway?”
