Dominic's eyes settled on Vespera. His gaze was calm and unreadable. No one could tell what he was thinking.

the coffee table.

She pulled a few out, then walked over and offered them to Dominic. She said, "You're soaked. You should wipe

away the water."

couch and sat down.

warm yourself up."
